What happens if Fixle doesn't have my item's information in the database?

Here's how to manually add an item when it is added to the home but cannot be found in the database. The Fixle team will get to work to source and populate item details for you.

Fixle offers the most robust database of appliance and system resources, and it is constantly growing. There will be times, however, when an appliance is added that is not in our database... yet. This can be more common for major appliances and systems that are over 20 years old.

If the item is not found, you can add the appliance information manually which will trigger the creation of a service ticket and a member of the Fixle team will work to find the appliance information. If it is available, the information will be added to the database and automatically populated into the Fixle home.  

When an item is added to the home but not found from the scanned label, photo upload, or model/serial search, manually complete the requested information and Fixle will work to source and populate item details and documents.

While viewing the added major appliance, there will be a message displayed stating ‘Additional Item Details Coming Soon’. This notice will display if you are either offline and the details will be populated once you reconnect; or we are working hard to gather details and documents to add to this item.

We will notify you when the details are ready to view.
