How do I know if an appliance or system has a recall?

Fixle will send a Recall Alert if one of your Home’s Major Appliance has a recall so you can take appropriate steps to repair or replace the item.

Items that have been recalled are a hazard and could damage your property or cause physical harm.
When viewing the Appliance Details, you can find whether or not there is an active recall under the ‘Recall Status’ section.

When there is an Active Recall on an item, there will be details surrounding the Recall Date, Product Information, as well as the Hazard resulting in the Recall. A link is provided to the product’s website, where additional Recall information and instructions can be found.

Once you have viewed the Recall information on the Recall Website and have made the decision to have your Appliance repaired, you can update the Repair Details within the Item’s Details.

Once your Appliance has been repaired, update the Repair Details to reflect the completion of repairs, and the Recall Status will be updated to Repaired.
